Youth Advocate - Reno, NevadaFull Job Description
Role Summary
Under the supervision of the Program Director, the Advocate provides crisis services, initial assessment, case management services, and services to youth referred to the program as victims of sex trafficking. The Advocate is responsible for the coordination of essential services within the organization. The Advocate will maintain contact with referring/referral agencies, provide data collection, case documentation, file maintenance and social service to support the youth participants. Services are delivered from a strengths-based, participant-centered, culturally sensitive, and appropriate developmental approach. Particular attention is paid to a victim-centered and trauma-informed approach.
